Second Book in the Stuck on Stupid Book Series Helps Professionals “Get Unstuck”
Stuck on Stupid: A Guide for Today’s Professional Stuck in a Rut, is the latest installment in the “Get Unstuck,” Stuck on Stupid Book franchise. This book is for any professional who has a job they hate, is experiencing unnecessary frustration at work, longs to start their own business or make a drastic career change, or can no longer find the motivation for the daily grind of a job. The book takes a candid look at sticky situations that many professionals face along their career paths. This book is for anyone who is in a job situation that negates passion, purpose or progress. For the reader who feels they are on professional pause, the book offers Unstuck Success Stories from the likes of a former CEO who left corporate America behind to run a non-profit that now helps people around the world to the young man who worked his way up from the mailroom to a management position despite the odds. Whether you find yourself in a rut during a time of uncertainty and unemployment or wondering how long you will stay stuck on the same rung of the corporate ladder, this book is for you. Available at www.StuckOnStupidBooks.com.
The first book in the series, Stuck on Stupid: A Guide for Today’s Single Woman Stuck in Yesterday’s Stupid Relationships, was met with praise during Atlanta radio interviews with STAR 94 FM’s Steve & Vikki and V-103’s Love & Relationships host Joyce Littel. The book was introduced to the west coast on 1000 KCEO San Diego with dating coach Deanna Lorraine and exclusive excerpts were published on PinkPeppers.org, a site for divorced women, and relationship blog site, FlaglerHill.com. The book and series went on to mentions in national magazines including Redbook, Black Enterprise, and Upscale. Book signings took place in Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles. Most recently, Glamour.com’s Single-ish Daily Dating Blog called the first book in the series “Hilarious.”
